Final performance of "Drama Aesthetic Education" successfully holds

On June 5, 2025, the undergraduate general education course "Drama Aesthetic Education" culminated in a successful final performance at the Nanjing University Auditorium. The University’s Aesthetic Education Teaching Team, in collaboration with Jiangsu Grand Theatre, designed this initiative based on the course "Drama Aesthetic Education," guided by the principles of nurturing through beauty, humanizing through aesthetics, cultivating foundational values via art, and advancing the vision of a “Beautiful Nanjing University.”
Selecting outstanding students from the course, the team conceived and staged "Three Lives, Three Dreams"—an original theatrical production that creatively fuses Journey to the West, one of China’s Four Great Classical Novels, with Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, resulting in a distinctive aesthetic education project rooted in drama.
