From April 22 to 23, 2025, the academic symposium on "Research on the Chinese Image and the Overseas Dissemination of Chinese Civilization" was successfully held at the Center for International Academic Exchange, Suzhou Campus, Nanjing University. Jointly organized by Art Magazine and the School of Arts at Nanjing University, the event brought together leading scholars including Yang Canwei, Director of the Academic Exchange Department of Art Magazine, along with Professor He Chengzhou, Professor Huang Houming, Professor Shang Rong, and other faculty members from the School of Arts. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the construction of China’s image within global art history and cultural exchange, exploring its evolving representation and reception in cross-cultural contexts.
