On June 14, 2025, the academic conference "Discipline Construction of Art Studies and the Development of an Autonomous Knowledge System in Philosophy and Social Sciences," organized by the School of Arts at Nanjing University, was successfully held at Gulou Campus. More than twenty renowned scholars and experts from the field of art studies across the country gathered to deeply explore how the construction of art studies can be integrated into the development of an autonomous knowledge system in philosophy and social sciences, thereby promoting theoretical innovation and practical development in related fields.
The conference featured four keynote speeches and a roundtable discussion.
