From December 6 to7, 2025, the Symposium on “The History of Multi-ethnic Art and Cultural Exchange along the Silk Road” was held at the Nanjing University International Conference Center. This symposium was hosted by the School of Arts at Nanjing University, co-organized by the Center for Studies of Buddhist Civilization at the School of History, Zhejiang University, and the Center for Buddhist Art at the School of Art and Archaeology, Zhejiang University, and supported by the Zhejiang University Buddhist Civilization Research Fund.
The two-day event brought together 46 scholars from China and abroad, engaging in thirteen thematic sessions of in-depth academic dialogue on the fusion of multi-ethnic art and cultural interaction along the Silk Road.
